Cape Cod Garden Path Recovery

Project Overview

Wild grape vines and dense saplings had swallowed the garden path and buried the base of magnificent oak trees. The homeowner had given up on ever using the backyard. We restored it to a private park that now hosts family gatherings every weekend.

The Challenge

Wild grape vines had climbed into the canopy of 8 mature oak trees, adding dangerous weight to limbs and blocking sunlight. The garden path was completely invisible under dense sapling growth. The homeowner had not used their backyard in over 5 years due to the impenetrable vegetation.

Our Solution

We carefully mulched the saplings and ground-level vine growth while our operator manually cut the aerial vines from the oak trees. The combination of mechanical mulching and targeted vine removal freed the oaks and revealed the garden path without damaging any of the mature trees.

The Result

The backyard was transformed from an abandoned jungle into a private park setting. The 200-foot garden path is now a favorite walking route, the 8 oak trees are healthy and thriving without vine stress, and the family hosts outdoor gatherings every weekend in their recovered space.
